Sarah started her design career in the early 2000s building websites for local bands and friends with creative side hustles, which turns out to be surprisingly good training for working with independent business owners.
That early work led to a decade as Communications Manager at a major university, where she worked as a web designer and social media strategist, learning how large organizations think about brand, consistency, and digital presence.
She founded Dionne Design Studio to bring that same strategic thinking to independent businesses, the ones doing remarkable work with a digital presence which hasn’t caught up yet.
The name Dionne Design belonged first to the family upholstery business
